terms of service

These terms govern your use of Sage, a Pomodoro focus timer Chrome extension (the "Extension"), and any related paid features ("Sage Premium"). By installing the Extension or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms.

What Sage is

Sage is a productivity tool that runs entirely in your Chrome browser. It provides a focus timer, a new tab override, scheduled site blocking, and a session history. Most of your Sage data is stored locally on your device; see the Privacy Policy for what's stored locally and what (if anything) Sage transmits.

License

Sage is licensed, not sold. You're granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Extension and, if subscribed, the Premium features on devices you own or control. You may not redistribute, resell, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent license validation.

Subscriptions & billing

Sage Premium is offered as a recurring subscription on either a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the merchant of record and handles payment, tax compliance, and license delivery on our behalf.

Refunds

Sage offers a 14-day full refund window on initial purchases and renewal charges. See the Refund Policy for full details.

No warranty

Sage is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee any specific productivity outcomes, and we don't guarantee that the Extension will be uninterrupted or error-free. Chrome browser updates, OS updates, or changes to Chrome's extension APIs may at times affect functionality.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sage and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Extension. Total liability in any case is limited to the amount you paid for Sage Premium in the preceding 12 months.

Acceptable use

Don't use Sage for anything unlawful, and don't attempt to interfere with the Extension's operation for other users (for example, by sharing license keys or distributing modified versions).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Extension or by email to active subscribers. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
